Lesson 2 How do living things get energy?

Chapter 7 The Rock Cycle

Lesson 1 What are the types of rocks?

Lesson 2 What is the rock cycle?

Lesson 3 How do weathering and erosion affect rocks?

Unit 3 VERBS

*Identify main verbs and helping verbs

*Identify verbs in Present (end in ‘s’), verbs in Past (end with ed), and verbs in future (are next to the word will).

*Review rules to make the present tense of the verbs. Add ‘s’, ‘es’ or ‘ies’.

*Review rules to make the past tense of the verbs.

*Remember the helping verbs: have, has and had, help us to make past tense.

*HAVE is used with plural nouns and the pronoun I. HAS is used with singular nouns.

*Study IRREGULAR VERBS

*VERB to be in present and past. (am, are, is, was and were)

*Reading

Reread the lessons, study vocabulary, activities and order of the events about each of the following lessons:

-Thomas and the Library Lady

-Tanya’s Reunion

-Boss of the Plains

*Spelling

Study spelling and meaning of Basic Words from Unit 10 to Unit 17. Words for the Dictation exercise will be from UNIT 14. Pay special attention on these words!
